I am trying to record an Internet Audio Stream and append it to an existing file. When the recording is finished, the original file is fine, but the recorded stream plays back at double-speed. What is wrong?
When you append a recorded stream to an existing file, you must make sure that the sample rates of the files are the same. You can see the sample rate for a song (listed in kilohertz - kHz) on the UltraPlayer status display. If you append a stream that has a sample rate of 22 khz to a file that has a sample rate of 44 khz, the appended audio will play at double-speed.
