Playing CDs

Why don't the EQ and DSP plugins affect the sound when I play tracks from a CD?
The EQ and DSP plugins will not work with CD audio because when UltraPlayer plays CDs, it simply tells your CD player when to start, stop, etc. The CD player usually sends the CD audio directly to the sound card and does not pass the audio back to UltraPlayer. Therefore, UltraPlayer cannot apply the EQ and DSP filters to the sound before you hear it (as it does with other file types).
