FAQ - Using UltraPlayer

Playing CDs

I have a CD that I cannot play in UltraPlayer. When I try to select tracks from it to add to my playlist, there are no CDA tracks listed on the CD. What can I do?
You have a "mixed-mode" CD. Usually, there are some data files or programs on the CD in addition to the songs. Windows Explorer has trouble seeing songs on CDs like this, so you will have to add the songs in a little bit different manner:

  1. Insert the CD into your CD-ROM.
  2. Wait a minute to make sure that no programs open from the CD. If they do, close them.
  3. Open UltraPlayer.
  4. Press the ADD button.
  5. In the menu that opens, select "CD Audio Tracks".
  6. This will open another menu that asks you to choose the CD drive that has the CD from which you want to add tracks.
  7. Click on the CD drive, and the songs will be added to your playlist.
